Thank you very much. I think it's a helluva way to run a railroad, but I greatly appreciate the help.

[Solved]Opera won't retain Flash settingsOpera for Windows
Windows 10, 64 bit, Opera 45. Opera is opened from the launcher, not pinned to the taskbar. It will not retain settings after closing and reopening, never mind rebooting. Specifically, every time I open Opera, I have to go to settings/websites and check "Allow websites to run Flash". "Click to play" is evidently the default setting, but that's not the setting I want, OK? I have looked at the profile, a nearly unintelligible .html-crammed page, but Flash is not mentioned. Surely there must be a way to make Opera accept the settings I want it to use. Or do I have to be a super-coder to make that happen? Sorry, I'm frustrated. Thanks.

Keep logged in on GmailOpera for Windows
In Firefox, I only occasionally have to sign in to my Gmail or LastPass accounts. With Opera, I have to sign in to both every time I use them. Howcome? Thanks.

RE: [solved]Follower tabsOpera for Windows
Thank you. I would suggest to the folks at Opera.com that they specify the versions to which those pages apply.

[solved]Follower tabsOpera for Windows
Opera online help mentions "follower tabs" as a component of the context menu, but when I right-click on a tab, the menu does not include that option. What I'm trying to do is duplicate a functionality I got with Tab Mix Plus in Firefox, called Lock Tab, wherein when a tab is locked, it stays at the original URL. When a link is clicked on in the tab contents, the link opens in a new tab. and when I do a new search while in the tab, the search results open in a new tab. When I type in a new URL in that tab, it opens in a new tab. The result is, when I have, e.g., the Gmail tab locked, that tab never navigates away from it. It sounds like a follower tab does that, so where is it?
Also, when tabs are locked, they survive restarting the browser and rebooting the computer. Apparently, pinning tabs doesn't do that in Opera. Is there a way to force it? Thanks.
