RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@victorhurtado I don't have that much time right now to work on the extension. Also, unfortunately, it doesn't seem like I can access local files at all from the extension (as far as I know). The API isn't really created to make an extension like this

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@kennysamuerto It has to do with x-frame restrictions, twitter sets 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'. For some reason twitter works, but not tweetdeck. I don't think I can do anything about it.

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@naeem Yes, some sites don't work and Google is one of them, the extension description contains a list of some of those sites. Please search in a regular tab and open the page in the panel, or try a search engine among the default ones.

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@dahotfunk Yes, some sites block it from being displayed in an iframe (and I use an iframe for this extension to display websites), and Google are one of those. Especially search engines tend to do this, as Bing, Duckduckgo and Yahoo don't work either. Some options that do work are Ecosia, Startpage and Aol, which are now the default included search engines.
One other option is to use Google search in a regular browser tab, go the the correct page, and then press the "open page in panel" button (left arrow, at the bottom of the panel).

Please check if the problem is present in the latest version (1.5).
If so, could you post a small screenshot? -

Thank you for this powerful tool. Could you add, that the web panel save the cookies settings because I must click every refresh or searching something to accept the cookies?
I have added this to my to-do list, I'm not promising anything however! If and when implemented I will notify you.

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@sealoftime When the panel has been closed or unpinned, there is unfortunately not much I can do as far as I know. But if it stays pinned the page should stay loaded.

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@dahotfunk Now the new version has been reviewed and released. Could you test the web page again to see if it works in the new version? Also, do you have the same issue on all pages you visit? For example, does it work on https://en.wikipedia.org?
One more thing: Please check that you have the latest version of the extension at opera://extensions/ , it should say version 1.5

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
I submitted an update a year ago, but it still hasn't been reviewed. I have sent a message to the reviewers to see when it will be done.

RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
@johanneswidm Good idea, unfortunately Opera hasn't reviewed my last submission, which is almost a year old. Therefore, I will wait until it has been reviewed before I continue working on the extension.

Hi @superloki
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to keep web pages loaded when the extension is closed/inactive.
Great that you find the extension useful. -
RE: Web PanelOpera add-ons
Hi @davespagnol
I do not really understand the problem. Are you trying to add a bookmark? In that case, I cannot reproduce the issue.
If you are trying to just go to a website, you should just type it in and press enter.

RE: Very long extension moderation processOpera add-ons
I don't think ranting here will improve the situation. As you can see, tprockow wrote a couple of posts back Opera are working on auto moderation, which indicates they are aware of the problem.

RE: Very long extension moderation processOpera add-ons
I wonder if Opera is aware of that this seriously can hurt their reputation? They have been trying to compete with the bigger browsers for 22 years now. If they not are spending money on this; what are they trying to accomplish?

Celebrating a year since last review. Going for two now.
Seriously? Do you mean you have waited A YEAR?
Well, congratulations!

The update for Web Panel was approved a couple of days ago, approximately one month after submission. They seem to be working, but understaffed.

RE: Non-Official Opera browser feature surveySuggestions and feature requests
Another important thing (or perhaps I should say "a thing that actually is important") is how tab stacking is implemented, because I personally do NOT want to have it they way Vivaldi have implemented their so called "Tab stacking" (aka "tab hiding", because that what it really is). I would like to have it similar to the Opera 11/12 version. If some similar survey is made in the future perhaps this could be included.

RE: Just have a single sidebarSuggestions and feature requests
+1
I like everything in the picture; also they way the opera icon and the open/close sidebar toggle button is put. Looks much better.
