I agree, still haven't "upgraded" to the new Opera but this is yet another thing I want back too.

Opera people! Another long time user here... still using v 12.16(how can I upgrade to v 12.17?) saying once again for all long time users... It needs to come back! It is not novel, cuter or whatever you think it was to have Opera without this feature! Among other good things that made v 10 - 12 the best internet had!

The icons of websites make it easier to find things bookmarked and for Opera Mobile in Unsorted Bookmarks there are none. Could they be implemented in?

My history I started in late 2012 and as of now it goes back to late 2013. A lot of loss. There rightfully should be a way for this issue to be dealt with by somebody.

I said the wrong term when I said "Saved Pages". I meant pages that are in my long History, which I use as part of my library. There is no other way to do so that I know of except drag the icon at the beginning of the address bar to a folder for every page I want to "keep", but that isn't really practical. I should have aside from asking if the History cap be removed suggested it be removed so long as my computer has the space.

The Opera we used 5 years ago was the best even with room for improvement! Too bad the Internet is getting less and less compatible with it. Such a waste, like seeing a luxury ship rot and sink.

I have now lost over a year of saved pages...it is sad and frustrating.

Users are right to think that tab stacking and all of the other good features from previous versions be implemented. Those features along with the speed were the pride of Opera 5 years ago and if re-implementing them would make Opera a little less speedy people probably wouldn't care much, so many of us would be happy to compromise somewhat. I couldn't stand to use the new Opera version for more than an hour, still using 12.17! If this doesn't change soon enough I'll have no choice but to start using another browser as this version becomes less and less compatible with the Internet. Another matter might be that Opera likely has only a mere fraction of the financial power of the other companies.

It would be greater if there was also no browser imposed cap on how much Opera history you can have. Seems I'm not the only one who uses Opera history as a library.

The only way that I know how to do this is by dragging the Page Information bar to a folder. It would be quicker and simpler to have the option in a right-click context menu or even through Page/Save As/Internet Shortcut.

The old Opera does indeed crash quite a bit. However I would've assumed a long time ago that they would have made significant improvements a long time ago to address that issue. I had to uninstall the new Opera because I couldn't stand it either, I don't remember exactly where to get the better versions but I think that they're still somewhere on this site.

I'm cynical about Opera anymore and I too used to be enthusiastic about it. Now I just use it(still version 12.16, couldn't deal with the new version) because it's the most tolerable of browsers I've used. Please bring back tab stacking and the other things that made earlier versions the best(of Opera and browsers). What's it going to take? If most Opera users today stopped using Opera would they finally start...eh, I'm not holding my breath.

I tried Opera 25 and just couldn't work with it. Too many features including tab stacking are gone. Meanwhile my library diminishes because of the limitations.

@leocg: The "Metro" interface is just bad. I hope they lose all faith in it and scrap it.

Icons do help for quicker navigation.

Please don't hold your breath breath if you're waiting for for their attentions. After years in the Opera forums I doubt that people who work at Opera spend more than a few minutes a year if any time at all looking at the forums.

It would be nice to be able to save .url files easily to go to a web page later, like having something in Page/Save As as opposed to having to drag Page Information bar to a folder.

I wouldn't want creepy a-- Google on involved in my browser but that's just me I guess.

There should be an option.
