@stefanvd it took me a second to figure out how to turn it on, but thanks for the help/guidance

the only gripe that i have is the fact that EVERY TIME you click on the web page it instantly kills the main part of the extension (the dimming part), there needs to be way where you can enable clickthrough (i think?) so that way every time you need to click somewhere, it doesn't INSTANTLY kill the main part of the extension. Just an fyi, this is a very useful/alternative extension from Dark Reader, but i would rate it a five if it wasn't for having to constantly reactivate the extension, overall it is a VERY good extension
