You're probably using many Sidebar services, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Twitch, Discord.... Every time one of those services check if you have new messages/notifications, it spikes CPU load. Most of them together Opera really heavy. But I suspect WhatsApp is the worst.
If you think Chrome is good for your fans, you should try Edge.
