It needs to be https://server01.something/login for it to be accepted. Or, it can be https://ipaddress/login.

I cannot connect to ESX with IP address and also not with .something. However, the password manager accepts your suggestions.

Thank you! So I didn't select 'Never save'. So the local server address is my problem. Therefore I have another case.
