Please add a permanent way to disable the Opera splash screen that appears after updates, for all versions of Opera including the standard Opera and Opera GX, for both Windows and macOS. Due to the frequency of updates, the time wasted for the splash screen greatly adds up. If I open a browser for an urgent task, I don't want to wait 10 seconds for an annoying screen and sound to take up valuable time and potentially distract me from the task I was trying to efficiently complete. Opera used to have the fastest start time but that is no longer the case partly due to this. This is a much-requested/complained-about feature as can be inferred by other posts on this forum and elsewhere on the internet.
For current workarounds, I've read about deleting opera_gx_splash, but apparently that can reappear when Opera is updated. A former thing I tried was deleting #opera-one-introduction at opera://flags/ but that didn't work and no longer seems to be an option anyway.
