I've ended up resyncing (via resetting the PassPhrase). The bookmarks have decreased from 18518. I'm going to have to rethink how I catalogue my bookmarks as Opera can't cope!

Yesterday Opera had trouble starting and was unresponsive.
I think it's due to the no of bookmarks I have (near 20K)!

I ended up totalling resintalling Opera, but not all my bookmarks are syncing to the desktop despite the brower reporting the "Data is Syncronized"
