Although I have the setting for "Enable notification badges for messengers" disabled in the Sidebar settings, I still have a "25" displayed upon the Twitch sidebar icon. I'd hate to disable the Twitch feature just so I don't have this hard-coded badge nagging me, but at this point I think any of the included messenger apps that come with GX (Twitch, FB Messenger, Whatsapp, Telegram, VK, Instagram) will all show a badge regardless of the settings. Also as a suggestion, if the switch does apply to only 6 of the checkboxes below it, then perhaps a small icon beside the switch & the app checkboxes would help identify what's affected by that switch.
