RE: SSL Certificate Error on addons.opera.com (Opera 24)Opera add-ons
First of all, thank you for your answer.
Not all HTTPS are locked: for example, Ebay or Google are OK and I can browse all links or features. On the contrary, the URL of digicert suggested by You is NOT allowed.
The errors when I open the certificates are:
- "It was not possible to verify the server certificate" (browser Opera 24)
- "The digital signature of the certificate is invalid." (Windows certificates management)
I have no doubt that the certs are correct: infact either Chrome, Mozilla and also Opera 12 have no problem in browse these pages.
And also a copy of Opera 24 installed on another PC (with WinXP SP3) works fine. The real strange thing that I can't understand is that an Opera browser does NOT recognize the certificate of its own builder.
Also the browser does not allow in any way to bypass this situation, even if I know that the website is sure.
Moreover, the user guide that I can find on Opera website is referred to Opera 12, and all the proposed solutions about security are generic or not suitable for Opera 24.
This really sucks and it is incredibly shameful!Thank you

SSL Certificate Error on addons.opera.com (Opera 24)Opera add-ons
Hi. I've just done a new and clean installation of Windowx XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) on my PC.
After the installation of Opera 24 I tried to browse the Opera addons webpage (addons.opera.com/it) but I received a SSL certificate error ("Server certificate not valid").No errors using Chrome, Firefox or Opera 12 at the same URL. On the contrary, Opera 24 blocks also other sites with HTTPS protocol.
Could this problem be related with Windows XP SP2, instead of SP3?
Have You other suggestions?Thank You very much
