TL;DR
They don't want our money, that's why they are making it so hard to change. Also, the setting to change display currencies doesn't work, nor does changing the Eneba settings. Good luck, but I'm just going to remove the feature all together.

I'm wondering the same and apparently so are a number of people since 2020. So far I've found this post, another here on the Opera forums (that was locked after a year or so), a post on r/operabrowser, and a YouTube video.
So far the suggestions to have been to...
- Go into... Settings > Privacy & Security > Search pop-up > Currencies to [drop-down], but that didn't work for the Deals Aggregator in the GX Corner (idk if it did anything else where, I haven't checked).
- Click on one of the deals and change the settings for the Eneba webpage along right half side of the title bar. But that also didn't work, even after restarting the browser. Thought the Opera forums post suggesting that one did mention that it didn't work and in addition kept resetting to EUR even after having logged in to the site.
I tried both of those out today (Wed, 28-Jun-2023, 11:53am AST) on Opera GX LVL5 (core: 99.0.4788.86), Update stream: Early Access, System: Windows 10 64-bit (Version 22H2), Chromium version:113.0.5672.127
I'm out of ideas and apparently resources. I'm mostly writing this so that if anyone else is looking for the answer to this they will hopefully reply here out of all the places and we'll all get an answer, not to mention documenting what hasn't worked and as of when.
You would think they would want to display the deals in the users preferred currency easily, maybe even automagically. Because, you know... its more tempting to buy stuff when you don't have to do internal math or think about it too much. I think I'm personally going to just removed the deals aggregator for the time being. Probably won't think about any of this again to be honest.
So good luck in this and all your future endeavors.
Sincerely,
~Aurora
