@leocg I use dark reader but I've tried disabling, and then uninstalling to no avail

@leocg I've made an exception for whatsapp web on the website tab, but it didn't do anything to the sidebar. It's still greyed out.

@leocg By greyed out, I mean the first screenshot I took. Opening in a new tab works fine it isn't effected by the theme

@leocg When whatsapp is already greyed out, it does nothing.
So far the only solution is to revert to light mode in the easy setup settings and refresh whatsapp. It then reverts to light mode. Then, I would change back to dark mode

@asianpotato Edit: changing into a new clean profile in the directory works at first, but it then reverts back.
The only solution I just found is to:

1. revert back to light mode
2. refresh whatsapp
3. change back to dark mode
   but you have to redo this again after closing Opera GX

@leocg Yeah I've disabled it both in flags and the normal settings

@leocg I don't think spotify has a option for themes, but whatsapp is set to system default. Oh and switching to light mode in whatsapp still makes it gray.

This is the theme settings that's effecting whatsapp and spotify.

Opera GX has the option light, auto, and dark in the easy setup menu. The auto and dark is interferring with the sidebar programs such as whatsapp and spotify. This is a recent issue as i have never encountered this before, after months of using Opera GX using the dark theme
