Let's say you have 3 tabs open, for example tab1: youtube.com, tab2: calendar.google.com and tab3: reddit.com
In Opera GX I can switch between these tabs just fine with "1" (previous tab) and "2" (next tab). However, in Google Calendar, "1" and "2" exist as hotkeys aswell, for switching between showing 1 and 7 days, respectively. And these get triggered when I use the keys to switch between tabs, so I guess the browser lets the key inputs "fall through" to the site on the tab where I used the keys on.
As the hotkeys "1" and "2" amongst others are disabled by default in Opera GX, I think it would be more convenient if, when enabled, these hotkeys would only trigger whatever they trigger in the browser, without falling through to the websites (If that is technically possible).
