RE: Max and banking appOpera Max
From the lack of responses to my couple of Opera Max forum posts, am I to understand that the Opera team doesn't know the answers or doesn't care to respond? Neither is very encouraging.

Max and banking appOpera Max
Opera Max is supposed to ignore https sites, right? Why is Max showing me that it saved data in my official banking app? I don't know how to check, but I think it's safe to assume that the banking app uses https.

RE: [Solved]HTTPS data synced to Opera Mini serversSynchronization
Thanks again. I think what I first thought was Mini synching history was actuality just synched speed dials with other devices. I must have just gotten confused. I'm pretty new to using Opera.

RE: [Solved]HTTPS data synced to Opera Mini serversSynchronization
Thanks. As I mentioned, I've already checked out that page but it's kind of vague. For example, passwords are synched for Opera on computers. But what does that mean? Only between computers? Or from computer to mobile, but not vice versa?
That page is also kind of misleading. For example, it says history doesn't synch on Mini, yet my Mini shows synched history from my other devices.
That's why I want to check my original question here.

[Solved]HTTPS data synced to Opera Mini serversSynchronization
My usage:
I try to only use Opera Mini for websites that don't handle my sensitive data via https, because Opera Mini doesn't encrypt end-to-end. For banking, shopping, important passwords, etc I try to stick to Opera for Android. My question:
If I have synch enabled in all Opera browser variants, is there any danger that Opera Mini servers will decrypt https data accessed in Opera for Android. Is that data is synced to Mini?I checked out the pinned page for more info about synched data, but I wanted to check this question specifically.

RE: Max plus data savingsOpera Max
Now Max is telling me that Opera for a Android used data and no data was saved. I've been doing similar sort of browsing now compared to when I first posted, where Max said it saved data on Opera for Android.
The functionality seems inconsistent and I'm becoming skeptical about the information that Max is reporting back to me. Can anyone clarify how the Opera data saving products function when used together?

Max plus data savingsOpera Max
I have Opera Max running and the Opera browsers with data savings enabled. Opera Max shows the Opera browsers amongst the apps that I have saved data on, by using Opera Max.
So if Opera browsers save data and then Opera Max saves additional data for the browsers, is the data saving doubled?
I was actually surprised to see the browsers in Max's list of app savings. If the browser data is already compressed via Opera's server, shouldn't Max find nothing to compress further?
Or how does it work? I'm very curious.
