LONGTIME Safari user here, and let me start with this:
Details: I was really interested in the tab management features because I tend to generate myriad tabs and Safari has no good way to manage them. So I installed Opera and the further I went the more intersted I became.
Then I "popped out" a YouTube video and saw the CC still showing in the browser and not on the popped out player. So I went to report the bug and when I searched the existing communty I was very sad to see that this request was posted just over 3 years ago and apparently the Opera team doesn't take accessibility seriously.
This has strongly dampened my interest in the browser as I have cognitive issues that make having the captions on as well as the audio an important feature. If this is how Opera treats bugs in their Accessibility support then I am probably out. Because any bug like this shouldn't need to be upvoted, it's a critical failure in the usability of an accessibility feature.
