Sadly, this doesn't work. Not in Opera at least...didn't bother trying in any other browser. It's unfortunate because it talks a big game and I was curious about checking it out. All it does is refers you to another website where it gets you to disable your adblocker so that it can throw dozens of ads at you and who knows what else in terms of trackers and whatever else...you click around trying to find the settings page, but it keeps looping you around through their website and sends you to a "this page has permanently moved" page. Don't bother. They even acknowledge all the bad reviews, but call them fake attacks. Welp! Sorry to tell you devs (and prospective other curious people looking to make YT cool), but from firsthand experience I can wholeheartedly say that whatever people are complaining about in these feedback comments is likely true because I've seen it myself. Do better... tsk tsk tsk...

RE: Mate TranslateOpera add-ons
Not free...which, it is what it is, but also disappointing considering it's merely a translation extension and is something that can be done a million different ways. Works great otherwise, I'm just not willing or able to pay $42/year for something like this.

[Duplicated]Continuous Crashing - Opera GX desktop versionOpera GX
This issue randomly just started happening right now out of absolutely nowhere. I was watching a video on YouTube and had the video detached because I was also chatting on Discord when all of a sudden all my tabs disappeared (maybe 10 or so spread across two separate windows since I keep my “multimedia” tabs on my second monitor and my email and such on my main monitor behind whatever else I have open). I thought that was weird and was a little annoyed, but it was fine I guess…I started re-opening my tabs again from History. Once I finished loading them all up again the browser suddenly crashed completely without giving an error message or crash report window.
Now, every time I try to open Opera GX again all it does is flash three or four fullscreen blank white windows and doesn't load the browser afterward. There aren’t even any instances in the task manager. I’ve tried re-installing it with the latest version from the website, which didn’t help. The same "flashing then nothing" continues. Trying to load it “As Administrator” doesn’t make a difference either. The only thing I haven’t done yet is a fresh full install…by uninstalling completely and installing again. But since I don’t have a way of backing up my settings and everything else, I feel that’s a bit drastic considering the cause is unknown and I wasn’t doing anything unusual to cause this to happen in the first place.
Do you have any idea what’s going on and what I could possibly do to get it working again? Any help would be extremely appreciated. Also, if you happen to need more information, just ask and I can do my best to give you whatever you need. I'm really not a fan of Chrome anymore and would rather not have to go back to it. I’ve grown to love Opera GX a lot and would like to keep using it. I don't have a screenshot to show since I can't load the browser but I did make a video that illustrates the issue; however, it wasn't letting me attach it to this post.
Thank you kindly in advance.
Warm regards,
