Now my work around. Added Opera extension to 'Open in Chrome'. Simple to right click on video in question, select 'Open Link in Google Chrome'. This will satisfy me.

Thanks for the quick response and information. I will look for an alternate solution.
Operating system is linux MX16 (fully updated) and Opera is playing videos from sources such as YouTube, streaming on line movies etc, but it will not play videos from several news networks such as FoxNews.com.
In addition to Opera being installed, Firefox and Chromium are installed on the same OS and both will play the same video file that Opera will not play.
What is displayed is the video frame with normal buttons at the bottom, blank box where the video should be.
Flash is version 25.0.0.171 and PepperFlash is not installed.
I prefer to use Opera but this problem is a stopper for me.
