Dear Opera Team,
I'm a dedicated Opera user and greatly appreciate the integrated media player. It's a fantastic feature, but its current behavior regarding toolbar pinning is a source of repeated frustration.
Currently, every time I restart Opera, the media player's toolbar icon disappears. To reinstate it, I must: open the player from the sidebar, initiate playback, close the player window, hover over the floating player, access its options, and manually re-select "Pin to toolbar." This multi-step process is cumbersome and time-consuming, especially for frequent users who rely on the media player for extended periods.
My suggestion is to introduce a persistent "Pin to toolbar" option. This would ensure the media player icon remains visible on the toolbar across all browser sessions, eliminating the need for repetitive manual pinning. Functionality should remain consistent with the sidebar icon, allowing for seamless playback control directly from the toolbar.
This improvement would significantly enhance the user experience, streamlining media playback and reducing unnecessary steps. It would provide a more intuitive and efficient way to access and manage media content within Opera.
I believe this feature would be highly beneficial to many Opera users, simplifying their media consumption workflow. I kindly request you to consider this enhancement for future updates.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
[Mr.Prince APE]
