Is there a way to disable the Speed Dial tab on program startup when you have existing tabs open? Failing that is there an option to have the existing tab/s prioritised as the current tab instead of Speed Dial?

Had a google, looked through the FAQ and skimmed the Forum search but couldn't find anything, any help appreciated.
