So I think opera's app-based 2fa is a much bigger pain in the ass than it's worth, so I tried to disable it before I signed into opera on a new device. Problem is, it's still requiring an access code that no longer exists. When I try to enter my password to re-enable 2fa, it shows the little loading ring like it's going to open the window, but then it just stops. The password is correct, I've quadruple checked it every time, and I'm not getting any message saying otherwise. What's going on?

@leocg Not on the new device, no. It's still requiring an authenticator code.

@leocg I'm not sure what you mean by other browsers. Opera is the specific browser I'm trying to sign into.
