@waggers5 i researched some more on some other posts. Its not possible to make it not happen after an update. Sorry for the bad news. Although you could request for this to not happen.

@rickwasalreadytaken ]also if using a laptop it might be in battery saving mode and wont work

@rickwasalreadytaken try to go to mods and check all of the boxes. maybe turn off any other mod that might be in the way.

in there turn this on 
make sure hardware acceleration is turned on (click on browser and scroll down till you see system)
