@burnout426 thanks for the answer. So what you're saying, by using might, is that it's not clear what's being cached. I would tend to think it can't be the messages, since otherwise the whole encryption thing loses some value...

@leocg Thanks for the reply. So, the traffic is encrypted end to end, but what does it caches? I mean, when I open the panel, Opera syncs the messages. So, somewhere, it has to have that copy of the messages, I guess...

I would like to know if the whatapp client integrated in opera is encrypted. e.g., if someone has access to the PC disk, can they find traces of the conversations in the browser cache or elsewhere?
