Loss of sound after up-dating Opera . I have sound on other browser and media player but not Opera . What can I do ?

I have used Opera for several years without issue until recently. I updated Opera a few months ago and after it updated I had no sound while using the browser. Everything else works fine. My medis player(s) and other browsers are all fine but no sound on Opera. This is irritating because I prefer to use Opera but am unable to because of this issue. Can any one help Me please ?
