My flow is disconnecting on restarting browser or rebooting device. And it doesnt connect at all after recent update where scanning QR code doesnt help as it keeps scanning but logs in. My data is stored in my flow so how can i access it?
Using latest opera everywhere. Mobile android opera broke sync since recent update.
Are we going to get option to sort bookmarks by time and date instead of just name because it disorderly arranges all bookmarks. Only Opera browser is the browser in the market currently that has no option to sort bookmarks by time and date either on mobile or desktop till now. And after Opera one, things related to bookmarks ordering and structuring are messed up where new bookmarks are coming up on top and order bookmarks are going at bottom. If one wants older bookmarks added first on top of the list and newer at bottom then they should have a right or control over it. In edge browser and cococ browser, I can very easily sort bookmarks as per my convenience unlike Opera or Opera one.
@airforce25228 This process brings another misery. If you dont update the opera then the opera logo on top left will turn bright red and will force you update and until you dont update, it will nag you. Another reason why opera forces updates and yet their updates sucks. I got an update and now opera is back to its tricks of crashing and unresponsiveness. Will definitely go back to edge if another update doesnt resolve this.

Since I have removed all the tabs from all opera browsers then why "https://www.sync.opera.com/tabs" and "search tabs" magnify glass icon near top right shows them?
I didnt realized opera was freaked up in its basic operations and processes.
@johnbrook Opera for over 30 years cannot provide this simple feature. I use another browser for this. And there is not a single browser apart from chrome that doesnt support this feature alongside media features when playing videos in full screen mode. It shocks me as to how opera is user friendly browser in 2024 where mobile usage is all time high.
My personal review of Opera One in July 2023
The Opera browser is as always good-looking and most importantly, works way better than chrome and other chromium browsers and doesnt hang like them. The mobile Opera is always better since it was in java and currently it has features I could hardly find in any other browser.
But that is all good I have to say since Opera isnt keen on upgrading itself with time and users.
What I liked about Opera during my school days weren't same when I am using it for professional purposes.
I hoped with Opera One, things would be different but it is same with a little bit of tweaks in design only where a lot of empty spaces are wasted and crashing as a feature.
Till now, Opera lacks or haven't brought in -
Support to sync installed extensions like chrome or brave or Vivaldi or Edge.
Vertical tabs (requested brave team since 2021 and they brought it in 2023 for final release and it works amazing).
Bookmark structuring and ordering where old bookmarks were on top and new went below but now post 90 version of opera, it is new on top and old at bottom without providing user any control or options to decide which way they want it but now is enforced by Opera.
Support for adding new search engines. Opera mobile has 10 search engines out of the box so it is great but when you go to desktop, it has only 3 and one cannot add any new search engine. I talked to a lot of team of search engines and they said, it is opera fault and you should ask Opera to allow you to do so. I even talked to a opera person and they said, they cannot allow another search engine due to lack of money and the money google gives cannot be cancelled (Opera is obviously oblivious to the fact that if you search through google search, google shows to use chrome and I dont know it is pretty easy to jump back to chrome with that popup, same goes with duckduckgo and bing).
Support for themes and coloring the browser. I used a lot of other lesser-known browsers like naver whale browser and cococo browser and maxthon browser and they all allow the above mentioned things and provide a color theming from their settings itself, if one doesnt want to install any new themes but opera, alas. Plus all of these browsers are constantly updated so no issues of outdated.
I know this post will not approved since Opera has already blocked on twitter and I have banned from this forum twice before but as a user since 2000, I deserve some respect and words.
I can use Opera but when others are providing me control over what I can do with my browser then why should I jump and stay with Opera when support is also not supportive?
@leocg No, not at all. I have only two devices until now and logged from those and re-logged into to check the issue but it doesn't resolve.
(Feature Request) Please add feature of TTS (text-to-speech) aka read aloud where webpages (both online and offline) can be read through voices present on device or Opera's own AI voices like in edge browser and other apps like Moon reader.
Opera has always been different and did things away from contemporaries, this is worth it alongside vertical tabs.

On windows desktop, if you use it go to time and lang under settings and then go speech and languages. You can download as many as voices and speeches you want to.
On android mobile, if you use it go to Speech Services by Google app or under accessibility, and you can same as said before. Download as many voices and languages as you can.
Now bring TTS feature within browser that detects voices from device. The best opera can do, is bring their own 1 male and 1 female voice that works under all circumstances.
Recently firefox introduced this TTS when you enable read mode for the webpage. But I dont use FF so, wouldnt go there. But was good and useful.
On a side note, please check aquile reader, koodo reader on windows and moon reader app, FB reader app, liberera book reader app as they all have deployed TTS function like edge did across platforms not just windows. And I use it very often and mostly offline to read webpages or anything when my eyes give up after work. My brother does use your app on mobile but finds it less useful as compared to edge.
Use opera browser to block ads. Use Opera adblocker and block ads.
If I have to see ads then what harm does chrome doing to me? Chrome isnt crashing but opera does every few mins.
@leocg I have only one installation and two devices logged in. Nothing different.
(Not a request but still requesting) Why Opera post 95 versions doesn't allow us to categorize bookmarks and changed it to whatever Opera wants it? Chrome and Firefox allows us to do it our way.
All of my bookmarks are messed up and disorderly arranged (which amounts to around 80,000). I want to arrange but the system is also messed up. As a result, shifted all bookmarks to Brave.
Same story exists on desktop and mobile. Mobile Opera is cool and way better than desktop opera but still this thing sucks.
Also, why no reading list option for articles or links to revisit later like Chrome and Brave and Vivaldi has and syncs cross device.
In short, no features in opera bookmarks section to manage large bookmarks of years.
I posted for this almost a year back but got no update. Mailed to dev, but see opera is not a browser of mine as it was back in early 2000s.

Opera is good but lack of vertical tabs makes it unusable for work purposes. Now even Brave and Firefox (finally) has it inbuilt (see attachments)
I use my work browser where I have open more than 400 tabs and most of them are in tab groups (subsequent request) that are saved and synced. As of now there are 2000 tabs since Sept 2024.
If Opera wants me to jump from Chrome, understand what you bringing that differentiates you the top competitor. Since Google search, which is your default, forces me to jump back to Chrome on all opera browsers on all devices. And in terms of work, Opera is not upto the standards of 2025 despite redesigning. If I use Google search, it forces me to login then it shows popups to install chrome which is better than Opera (opera ads are wasted if chrome via google is calling us back constantly like poke feature from FB, if you know).
If I remember around 20 years ago, Opera had vertical tabs but don't know what happened, but I believe there is a time for everything as it needs to come to back since browsing is not what was in 2010 in 2025.

I tried one and only addon present on Opera store but it works sometimes, and takes more space of the webpage unlike vertical tabs which reduce the top bars and vertical tabs section is resizable. Plus it is not updated since 2019. Damn 7 years almost.

@evillast Yes, it does and even many other browsers (naming them here can ban me) but not opera shows how much opera respects veteran users like us. It is old style browser with no changes with change in time.

@andreszs as stated clearly by me, i dont want new on top but at bottom as old ones are mostly visited or used by me. And I cannot change my system just because of opera one devs decided to do changes which no other browser decided to implement with options. See chrome, firefox, librewolf, waterfox, iceraven, edge, vivaldi and even opera versions before 90. You will see what I am talking about.
