Still a problem in Opera Developer 86.0.4351.0 (x86_64)

I was told that updates had been disabled for older macOS until this is fixed, but that seems to not be the case as OK v83 always updates to problematic v84 for me on every launch.

Opera: 84.0.4316.21 (x86_64)
macOS: 10.14.6 (18G9323)

This is the same issue that is plaguing the current version of GitHub Desktop, and stems from a braking change in a dependency.
