@sondery I am also having very similar issues

@leocg I am still having the same issue even after the latest update. I have to to have the files listed above on my desktop in order to open and and use Opera GX.

@leocg If I create a "Opera_GX" folder then open the Opera_GX_79.0.4143.73_Autoupdate_x64.exe inside of it, it will not work only doing it from the desktop makes it work.

@sondery I figured out a way to that it works but you will be left with a lot of files on the desktop

@leocg Hey so I was never able to find a build that works but if I download Opera_GX_79.0.4143.73_Autoupdate_x64.exe
And open it on the desktop and it extracts all the files on to the desktop it works, but I'm stuck with all the files on my desktop. If I move those files into a folder it stops working. Any thoughts on how I could figure a way move those files and still have it work?

@leocg I found an older version of of Opera GX (Version is LVL 1 (core: 62.0.3331.96)), and it works but when I update through the browser to the current version, is causes the same problem where none of the webpages load. Is it possible to get a older patch that is more current.

@sondery Have you found anything thats made it work yet?

@leocg Not really sometimes it helps open the actual window, but they still wont load webpages.

@leocg After a successful install when open the app sometimes nothing will pop up there is nothing to close, but you can see it in task manager.
