RE: [Solved][Duplicated]Version:79.0.4143.22 crashes websites and eventually crashes opera itselfOpera for Linux
@ekrankartu most problems I have (or rather most people have) are libffmpeg.so related. I already had a different version than the one delivered with Opera. Every time I have an Opera update I also fix the symlink. With version 79 I got these crashes. In this thread you can find the solution: https://forums.opera.com/topic/51436/youtube-has-frozen-in-linux-with-opera-79/5
You have to download this libffmpeg.so: https://repo.herecura.eu/herecura/x86_64/opera-beta-ffmpeg-codecs-93.0.4577.58-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
hope this helps ~ben

@yogimanuk Agree ... It is a weird situation, although I can live with it. I created my own script that I always run after an Opera update

@pindos I also do this. With any Opera update I replace the libffmpeg.so by the most recent one. I run a small script, so basically it is just one command.
