Apologies; I feel a bit silly. But I'm falling at the first hurdle on your requirements before posting: how do I disable all extensions?, etc.

Perhaps Opera is not for me, as I do not know how to do these things.

@sebavoda Thanks for the tip. I do use CCleaner occasionally; I've unchecked the Opera stuff, so maybe my Opera will be OK now.

Altho' the Opera pop-up window promises the restore my pages after close-down. it does not.

What can i do to remedy this please?
