Hi all,
I have over 4000 bookmarks and operate from a bunch of subject folders on the bookmark bar. They just drop down, and I'll move a sub folder out onto the bar when I'm working with that subject for a week or so. Then I'll just drag the whole folder back under the main master subject folders. There's no clicking on the bookmark manager or anything like that: it's all done just by browsing and click-holds and dragging. Is there a way to turn this on in Opera for Mac? Right now if I click hold it just goes to the website instead of recognising it as a command to get ready to drag that bookmark.

@panosv Well that and imagine your bookmark bar has folders of bookmarks that drop down inf you click on them. You might have dozens of bookmarks under different subjects, some of them articles you want to read one day. So you drag them up and down the folder in order you want to prioritize them. Can do in Firefox and Chrome, but not Opera.

Thanks, I ended up going with the Google account login. Will that continue to work when google+ closes?

RE: BookmarksOpera for Mac
I can't drag bookmarks around like I can in Chrome. Is there some preference I need to update in Opera on Mac?

Passphrase Catch22 circular trapOpera for Mac
I have created my account and expected that to allow me to sync.
Then it asks for my passphrase.
I don't remember my passphrase from previous accounts.
So I click reset passphrase
It deletes all synced details on my account and logs me out
I log back in again
I go to sync
It asks for my passphrase.
Aaaaaaaaarghhh! Also, what's with a browser whose bookmark system doesn't just let you click and HOLD down on a bookmark and drag it up and down a folder? Is there some option to turn this on? Given how often I need to move my bookmarks around, that's just a basic requirement in my view. Drag folders and bookmarks into other folders and bookmarks etc... I don't want to have to click to open the sidebar and click to select the folder I want and click the right bookmarks view panel to bring all my many bookmarks up in simple lines just to drag a bookmark up or down when I can do by a simple HOLD-CLICK IN the bookmarks themselves in most other browsers!
