@pindos Actually, it's not even just on videos. It happens in full screen mode in general. Try going full screen (F11) on any page with a dark background. Highly irritating.

Why is there a white strip at the top of youtube video in full screen?Opera for Linux
I've noticed a very thin strip (or stripe if you will) at the top of youtube videos in full screen. That only happens in Opera and not in other browsers. Any idea why that might be and what to do about it?

@d216 In case they don't fix it (which doesn't seem like they will), I recommend Vivaldi

@mrvoltz But Edge is still in development on Linux, right? I'd wait until it's stable. Vivaldi works for me and can't be beaten in terms of custimization. But I'll give Edge a try out of curiosity when it's stable.

RE: How do I turn off all notification requests?Opera for Linux
@leocg Sorry for not replying. For some reason the message landed in Spam (Gmail is starting to get on my nerves). I think you might be right, they are just notifications on the websites themselves. That's highly annoying. I wonder if there's an addon that might disable those.

How do I turn off all notification requests?Opera for Linux
Re: Please restore options to Block notification and location requests
I've read the cited post and it doesn't solve my problem. Websites ask me to allow them to send notifications although the setting in opera://settings/content/notifications is to block ("Ask before sending" is disabled). Since the sites continue to ask me, I consider this to be a bug, but maybe someone has some different ideas.

RE: Default mailto link handlerOpera for Linux
@s390g2 Yes. Gmail was there and I've removed it. Now Thunderbird opens the links again. Thanks a lot!

Default mailto link handlerOpera for Linux
I accidentally allowed gmail to open mailto links on pages and it has since become the default app for that. How can I change that and get back to Thunderbird as the default app for email links?
