I've just updated to Opera 60, and the sidebar is not on my start page. If I pin it to the start page, it is pinned on all pages, which I find very annoying. Does anyone have a fix for this? Also, is there anyway to make the speed dial icons larger? They are definitely smaller with the new version, and I find it a bit disconcerting.

I agree. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who is annoyed by this. I find the side bar to be very annoying on other web pages, but really like having it on the speed dial.
Yes, but then it enables it on all of my tabs. I'd like it just on the start page. I'm pretty sure that's how it used to be because it looks very strange to me when it is on my other pages.

I really liked the old way to use sidebar (hide but still be able to use on speed dial). Could you please address this in the next update? I don't like having it pinned to all pages, but do prefer to have it on the speed dial page. Thanks for your consideration!
@burakkt33 I couldn't really solve it. If the sidebar is enabled, it is on every page. If it is not enabled, it is not on any pages. I've just left it disabled, and have been using the menu when I want to access something from the sidebar.

@heroj202 I have noticed the same issue. I am always signed in; but one time the tab icon is on the sidebar, and the next time it is not. I also tried to customize the sidebar, but as you said, it is not one of the selections. It always seems to appear at the top of the page, but not in the sidebar. It's very bizarre and very frustrating.
