@burnout426 Thank you for checking. Yes, for me it happens when the address bar is not in focus, but interestingly, the URL does quickly highlight, but then de-highlights itself and the input cursor blinks at the end of the address. Since it's just happening for me, it must be my computer; I'll play around. Thank you (and @leocg!) for your time.

Search bar does not select all on clickOpera for Windows
I am on version 55.0.2994.61. Previously when you click into the URL/search bar, the current URL gets "select all'd" and you can just start typing a new address. Now, a text input cursor just appears at the end of the URL string. I am not sure if this was intentional or not. Alt+D still works to highlight the entire thing, and I can train myself to use that instead of clicking. Just thought I'd mention it in case it's not on purpose.

RE: Search bar does not select all on clickOpera for Windows
@leocg Thank you for checking. For me, it only happens when I click on empty whitespace in the URL bar. If I click on the URL itself, it highlights just fine. Not sure if that may make a difference.

RE: Reset default view settings?Opera for Windows
@leocg I redownloaded opera but didn't uninstall/reinstall. I found something in the settings:
"Disable tab bar's top spacing when browser window is maximized"
But I unchecked it and nothing happened. The little spacing is still not there, I closed and reopened as well. There is a gray dot next to that line item in the settings, does that mean anything? Is that a hot key or something?

RE: Reset default view settings?Opera for Windows
@leocg Sorry, I don't know the proper terminology. Maybe I mean the menu bar? Other programs are fine. Not the tabs bar, the tabs are butting right against the edge now and don't even look like tabs, just a big rectangle.
This is similar to how it used to look: here
This is how it looks now:
Thank you for your time and response!

Reset default view settings?Opera for Windows
My cell phone just dropped onto my keyboard and pressed some unknown key that made the top title bar of the browser disappear. Now my tabs are literally right against the edge of my monitor and I'm about to have a mental breakdown. Everything I've read from Opera says there is supposed to be a "Show menu bar" option in the menu but there's not. I've pushed every F button (F11, F12, etc.) and that's not it. I've pushed every key on my keyboard in general. I force closed Opera hoping the setting wouldn't "save" but of course that didn't work. I know the solution is something simple but I'm too busy itching from having no margins on my screen that I can't figure it out. please help.

I'm in Ohio and it's stopped happening. Good to know it was on Google's end.
