Yes, it starts loading if you select it. I meant edit the URL before loading the page.

Use part of previous URL in URL boxOpera for Windows
In Gecko based browsers, if you start typing in the URL window, you can scroll to one of the results, put your cursor in that URL and edit it (ie. most often to remove everything after the domain), and hit enter to use it. This is very useful and something I do all the time. In Opera, you can only use the previous URL as is. Is there any way to change this?

No Facebook profile photos in searchOpera for Windows
In Opera, when using the search box, profile photos are displayed beside each result in every other browser I have (FF/PM/KM/IE) except Opera. Why?

RE: Keep #extended-lazy-session-loading flagSuggestions and feature requests
I'm confused. Some say disabling #extended-lazy-session-loading makes the background tabs stay unloaded, but on mine, disabling it makes all the tabs load.
With it enabled (default), they still all seem to load, but are delayed until the selected tab finishes loading. Is there no way to have all non-selected tabs never load unless selected? Having this feature makes complete sense. Why is this even an issue?

RE: [Solved]Opera tries to run on it's ownOpera for Windows
^ Thanks zalex108. That seems to have worked. I looked there before but didn't see anything because I was quickly going through everything and it takes a couple seconds for the list too appear.

[Solved]Opera tries to run on it's ownOpera for Windows
Opera always tries to run in the background.
There are a few other threads about stopping Opera from auto-updating, but that's while it's running. It's been suggested to change the Opera shortcut to ...\Opera\launcher.exe --disable-update
I did that, which is how I know Opera always tries to run in the background, since because I changed that (I assume), it runs fine when I try to use the shortcut but crashes when it tries to run itself, as shown below. Why does it try to run, and more importantly, how can I disable it (without getting the crash message all the time)?Opera Internet Browser Has Stopped Working
