I tried that. I went to opera on my phone-settings-sync and back up-my flow ( which was the only option not on). When I switched on my flow I got the message to go to opera.com/connect. I scanned the code and got the message-failed, connection declined by other device on my phone. I tried to connect from my flow-settings-connect a phone and got the message-To use my-flow, you need to set up syncing between devices and go to opera.com/connect. I am signed in on both devices and have sync everything switched on. However, on the phone, when I turn on sync everything my flow stays off.

The latest version of Opera for desktop says that opera for android now has my flow. I downloaded opera to my android phone. When I click 'connect my phone' on the computer it tells me to open Opera touch on my phone. If I try to connect to my flow from the phone it fails because the computer did not accept the request. I tried to connect with the qr code and by signing in. Is there some simple set of instructions to get this to work.

@darthgtb Thanks for that tip, but I really can't figure out why they took the button away. Maybe I'll report it as a bug also, at least let them know some users would like it restored.

After the last update all my pinboards have disappeared. When I click on pinboards I just get the start page. I had a lot of pinboards and I would hate to lose them all. Any help would be appreciated.

I added the url to the bookmarks bar and positioned it directly under where the speed dial button used to be. It works pretty good that way. I never considered the speed dial button a homepage button. If your home page is anything other than the speed dial tiles than it's not a homepage button.

I got the pop up survey but couldn't finish it cause there was no option for the US in 'what country are you in'. Given the issues with flow I'm not sure opera would want a lot of people to finish the survey.

I have found a temporary work around. When I get to the spinning circle I click on the flow icon and flow opens correctly. My phone asks me to verify that it is me, fingerprint works. I then add stuff to the flow on my computer. When it shows up on the phone I download it and at that point the flow on the computer stops working and I am back to the 'connect your phone' page. None of this should be necessary, and I am also having issues with changing the third party cookies option. Maybe as erehwon2 says, it's time to go back to firefox.

I have the same issue as DiMarch. I can connect my phone and tablet with 'my flow' but not my computer. I get the same screen. Has anyone found a solution?

My browser had ALT + home for speed dial. That will work for me.

@luschuab No, unfortunately I did not. I got no replies, but from what I gather from other similar posts, unless your opera account was backed up, they are gone forever. Seemingly pinboards are still in beta mode so no guarantee it won't happen again.

You are correct @viewer2012 . I played around with "delete history below" and a lot of times you can end up deleting history you don't want to delete. Items 2 and 3 in your list should be added but I don't think that will happen.
