As far as I know if you go into your Google settings in YouTube there should be a built in dark mode.
As for the mod, try reinstalling it, and disabling extensions or other mods that could be interfering with it?

I have loved Opera GX for my gaming and everyday browsing. Lately though, my internet through Opera has slowed down to a few KBPS. I have 250MB internet. Any ideas on what to do?
