Open Bookmarks Tab Mouse Gesture

I believe it would be very useful to have a mouse gesture which opens a new tab with the bookmarks page.
Considering a lot of people aren't content with the way bookmarks work at the moment, I think this would alleviate at least some of the problems.
No more need to open a new tab, then move your mouse to the bottom and aim for the small button that opens the menu. Also no need to move your other hand, which is likely already occupied with supporting your head in order to press a key combination anymore.
Now you could just jump straight your bookmark page and open what you need, quickly using only one hand.
Bookmarks are one of the most used features of any internet browser, so it makes sense that the path leading to it should be as short as possible.
ps.
A setting where can choose whether the selected page from your bookmarks opens in a new tab or in the current tab would also be a pleasant addition. Bookmarks tends to get opened for single uses, so it's a bit annoying that it remains to fill space in the tab bar even though you're done doing what you opened it for.
