Can't sign in to sync on android phone

The problem is that I can't sign in to synchronize on my android phone. It says "temporary server error. Please try again later", but apparently it doesn't help no matter when i try.
Uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
As I'm posting here, I have no problem signing into on a webpage, using the same opera browser on the same phone. And I can sign in to sync on my computer as well, on the same WiFi.
