Is there any way I can get the latest Opera Mini (v8) to install and run on my BlackBerry Passport (BB10) device?

You can try the Android version but the Android versions of Opera Mini (and Mobile) now crash on my Q10 following the 10.3 update.
Direct download link here;
http://www.opera.com/mobile/download/versions/
I hope that Opera will one day produce dedicated BB10 versions of their browsers.

I tried the link you posted.
Was able to install and rum Opera Mini 8 once. It then failed to startup the second time -

Yes, that's what happens with me too.
To be fair to Opera, the fault clearly lies with BlackBerry and the Android runtime installed with the 10.3 update. Mini and Mobile do not crash like this on native Android devices nor did they when run under BB 10.2.
Dedicated Opera browsers for the millions of BB10 devices out there would still be best.

Woops, just started a new thread on this issue before realizing this already went back to May. Like the others, I'd sure appreciate an update.
