      Can anyone help as to what exactly the extension called 'Continue On Support' is please? The extension ID is ijcflbogjpkmfhbbikopgkcojpdaldjm but I can't find any info on it, nor what the purpose of it is

      This is what it 'does' (long 'key' removed)
      "manifest_version": 3,
      "name": "Continue On Support",
      "permissions": [ "activeTab", "alarms", "continueOnSupportPrivate", "operaResourcesPrivate", "scripting", "statsPrivate", "storage", "tabs" ],
      "update_url": "https://extension-updates.opera.com/api/omaha/update/",
      "version": "1.0.5",
      "web_accessible_resources": [ {
      "matches": [ "http:///", "https:///" ],
      "resources": [ "assets/scraping-method-odLHjz0h.js", "assets/entry.ts-BNyZrvRn.js" ],
      "use_dynamic_url": false

      The next question is therefore 'do I need it?' Can I also just delete other extensions I have no plans to use too, like Cashback?

      Thanks.

        It's a built-in component extension for the "Continue on Shopping" feature on the start page that shows products you've viewed on supporting shopping sites so that you can continue shopping by just clicking on them on the start page. You can't disable the component extension itself, but you can disable "Show Continue On section" at the URL opera://settings/startPage. See https://help.opera.com/en/faq/#:~:text=What is the Continue Shopping feature in Opera%3F for more info.

        Likewise, the Cashback feature is provided by a built-in component Cashback Assistant extension that you can't disable, but you can goto the URL opera://settings/cashback and disable the badge. You can also make sure the "Cashback extension download" flag at the URL opera://flags/#cashback-extension-download is disabled. See https://cashback.opera.com/ for more info.

        Also see https://www.reddit.com/r/OperaGX/comments/1s1ry68/comment/oc5k65y/ for a list of things you can disable in Opera if you like.
