My bank in Colombia does not allow me to make transactions through Opera, it recommends the installation and use of other browsers such as Edge, Mozilla or Chrome. I would like to be able to continue using Opera for my transactions.
The bank e Bancolombia and this had to be the result of an update of its payment platform carried out today 27-
06 Well, earlier today I was able to make transactions from another computer but using Opera. This new update hinders my processes. Please make Opera accepted by my bank "Bancolombia" to continue making my transactions.

It might fix itself once Opera upgrades to the next major version.

        For now, if you want:

Goto the URL opera://settings/content/all, type bancolombia.com in the search field and click "Delete displayed content". This will log you out of your bank and clear its cookies and storage. Then, goto the URL opera://settings/clearBrowserData and clear "Cached images and files" for all time.

Then, install https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/custom-useragent-string/ and pin it to the address bar. Then, goto the URL opera://extensions and set "allow access to search page results" for the extension. Also, if you want the extension to work in a private window, enable the incognito mode option for the extension.

Then, click the extension's icon on the address bar and click "Open options page".

On the options page, in the "Enter desired URL" field, delete the * and enter https://www.bancolombia.com/personas. Then, in the "Enter a custom user-agent string" field, delete everything and enter:

        Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/150.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Then, click the + button to add that entry and make sure that when the entry appears at the bottom that it has the "Domain" checkbox checked and that it shows a check for the state to show that it's enabled. You can then close that tab.

Then, in a new tab, goto https://www.bancolombia.com/personas, log in and try using the site.

If bancolombia.com is not the right site, adjust things above to the correct site.

That will make you appear to be using the latest Chrome for Windows 11 when on your banking site so that it doesn't have a fit hopefully.

        As an alternative to above:

You can right-click on your desktop, goto "New", choose "Shortcut", click "browse", browse to opera.exe ("Usually at "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\opera.exe"), click "Next", type "Opera as Chrome" for the name and click "Finish".

Then, right-click on the "Opera as Chrome" shortcut on your desktop, goto "Properties" and switch to the "Shortcut" tab. There, edit the "target" field to add a space at the end and then "--user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/150.0.0.0 Safari/537.36" so that it looks like this example:

        "C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\Programs\Opera\opera.exe" "--user-agent=Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/150.0.0.0 Safari/537.36"

        Then, apply and OK out.

Then, whenever you want to log in to your bank, close Opera and use that "Opera as Chrome" shortcut to start Opera and log into your bank. If you have any issues with doing that, you might have to goto the URL opera://settings/content/all, type bancolombia.com in the search field and click "Delete displayed data" to clear cookies for the site before logging in.

@luisca Very wise of your bank. I can no longer trust this browser to do what you set in settings' having lost 40 plus tabs and 8 workspaces in an auto update that clearly was different to every previous update on 23 July.
