My Linux version is 24.04.4 LTS

Opera worked like a charm for nearly two decades under linux. But I upgraded to the latest opera version and after that upgrade it does not start at all.

I tried to start Opera via the command line and this was the output:

      wally@wally-HP-Pavilion-Laptop-15-eg3xxx:~$ opera

I tried downloading and installing older versions of opera and the output was:

        "Error: cannot satisfy dependencies"

This one is actually freaking me out, because all the previous versions worked like a charm!

As I can see, you are using a SNAP version of Opera. You can look here: https://forums.opera.com/topic/88308/snap-version-of-opera-is-no-possible-open-because-instantly-crash/5
