Dropdown menus on Macbook failing occasionally

I am using Opera GX on a Macbook air M2,

Occasionally ( 5-6 times a week) Opera GX breaks my dropdown menu's throughout my macbook. When this occurs, menus like "Downloads", "Extensions", "Settings", or even dropdown menus on my macbook like these do not function. This problem gets fixed whenever i force quit opera, but otherwise I have to reboot the computer itself.

Anyone else having the same problem? does anyone know how to fix it?
