Video sound going in and out

This is such a hard problem to explain, but while watching any type of video on any website, the audio sounds like someone is sliding the volume up and down. I tested this on multiple video sites (YouTube, Twitch, Netflix, Paramount+, etc). I only have this problem while using Opera GX. I tested the same videos on the same sites on a different browser and I don't experience these audio issues.
Seriously, the best way to describe it is if someone were moving the audio slider up and down while you're watching a video.
If anyone has any troubleshooting suggestions, or a solution to this problem, it would be greatly appreciated
