Opera Starts with New Install Window then Flashes/Closes

I'm having to use Firefox to post this.
So what happens is this. When I try to start Opera. I get the New Update Window with the "O" in it -- then it flashes to a blank white screen for a second (see attached; I don't know why it came out black; maybe because I use dark mode?), then it closes.
Then it does the same exact thing -again- a 2nd time -- and then it does it a 3rd time. Then it stops. Opera never opens. It's just the New Update Windows and flashes of a screen, then nothing. I -never- get into Opera because it never stays open.
I tried downloading and installing the latest version of Opera -- Opera_119.0.5497.29_Setup_x64 -- and this still happens. I tried rebooting my pc (Windows 11 Pro), but that did nothing. The same 3 flashes happened again.
I did report this as an official Bug to Opera Support because there is -nothing- I can do to look at the settings or change anything in Opera itself because I can't get it to stay open.
Opera was working okay this morning. This problem started early this afternoon and the problem continues this evening.
(I created a Restore Point yesterday night, so I think I'm try that now and see what happens.)
I doubt anyone here has a solution to this, but I am wondering if this is happening to anyone else? Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm still having this problem!
I tried installing an older version of Opera which work okay for a short time, but then it updated, and the problem was back.
As I said, I can't even try to look at Opera itself because it won't stay open. I try to open it; I get the "O" new version window, then it flashes a blank screen three, and then closes.
I'm having to use Firefox (which I don't like!) to do anything on the web, even look at these Forums.
I don't know if I should completely uninstall Opera and just try to install the latest update, but I don't think that will help because this problem started with this latest update.
This is so darn frustrating!
Does anyone have any suggestions?!

First, make a test standalone installation to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop.
Does that Opera load fine? If not, open up a command prompt and launch that Opera like this:
"%userprofile%\Desktop\Opera Test\opera.exe" --disable-gpu
Does that make any difference?
If not, what about:
"%userprofile%\Desktop\Opera Test\opera.exe" --disable-extensions
?

Thank you for the reply.
I decided to bite the bullet yesterday, ran some cleaned up programs on my pc, updated what needed updating, and then created a System Restore Point.
Then I uninstalled Opera -- for some reason there were 4 versions(?!) of it on my computer. I got rid of them all.
I rebooted and then downloaded the latest version from the main Opera site and installed that. That worked! No more open and closing of blank screens.
Of course, Now I have had to go through and set up this new version with all my preferences and add-ons that I had in the old one. Problem is, I did that over years and trying to figure out all the changes and settings I had on the old version for the new one is gonna take a long time. And since the old version was so messed up I couldn't get it to stay Open, there was no way I could make notes of what I had for my settings. sigh
I really wish I knew what caused that freakish behavior with my previous installation.
It was just so damn odd.Well, I have a working Opera browser again -- but, as I said, it's going to take some time before I have it set up the way I like it as with my old install.
This whole thing has been one big frustration and continues to be with redoing the settings on the new installation.
Again, thank you for your advice! If I run into a crazy problem with Opera again like I did this time, I will follow the steps you suggest!
