How do I put bookmarks on bookmarks bar??

Hey, people! I'm glad I'm back..

Can you tell me how to add bookmarks on bookmarks bar? When I press the star like button it goes somewhere else. How do I change that? Thank you in advance!!

Hi,
I just drag the tab of the page I want down to the bookmark bar. I hope this helps.

You say "star like button", then I assume you use the old Opera? (version <= 12)
