Allow auto space in seach field / adress bar - Opera for android

Since the search field and address bar were unified, I struggle with the following problem:
I use Swype for text input. Swype uses auto space between words. When writing in the search field, the auto-space command does not work. I guess the search field is detected as an address field, which of course is equally correct. Still, the problem is that I have to change the way I input text everytime I want to do a search, which is annoying. I keep forgetting to tap space again and again, and have to re-write my search strings. And lets face it - nobody EVER writes proper web addresses anymore. We all rely on search. So the "no auto space" feature is pretty pointless i think.
I guess the problem is there with other text input methods as well. But it's not there with other browsers. For example, the inferior UC browser does allow the auto-space function in the unified search/adress field. So i guess this could be fixed?
