Sync + Flow to iPhone

Hey y'all. I've seen this problem mentioned elsewhere before but with no resolutions, so I'm going to outline exactly what's happening and the steps I've taken to try to solve it before coming here in the hopes that someone can see the missing piece.
I use an iMac, MacBook Air, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
I used to use Opera religiously on all of my devices. I successfully used Flow between my devices. This was a couple of years ago.
Then it got really heavy for awhile and I switched back to Chrome. I ended up uninstalling Opera from my phone at that time and just using Chrome's app (so it would sync). Now I'd like to move back to Opera full time again but I cannot get my iPhone to sync or Flow to connect.
I Have Tried:
- Using the QR code on my desktop to connect my iPhone. It says "Connection error, please check your network and try again"
- Using the manual codes gives the same response.
- My husband was able to un-sync and successfully re-sync his Opera (PC to iPhone).
- That made me think maybe a caching issue, so I completely uninstalled Opera on every device and cleared the cache and cookies. Tried QR + manual codes again, and nada.
- Then tried going to auth.opera.com on my iPhone and logging into Sync there FIRST; successfully logged in but in the Devices, only my iMac and MacBook show, even though I'm logged in on my phone and can SEE the account from my phone.
- Then thought maybe this was an account issue?? So I tried making an entirely new Opera account + a clean install. Same results for QR + manual codes when trying to Sync / Flow on iPhone.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm so frustrated.

@gloame BUMP!
Just fresh installed Windows 10 and tried everything. A fresh install of Opera on my iOS was my last shot before doing some 'research'. i am running iOS 16, maybe i need an older version of Opera on my PC? i'll figure it.I'd create my own topic, however i find it SCANDALOUS that your post has remained unanswered. i honestly am starting to believe that Opera is getting too fat for their own good. Their philosophy remains the same, but their drive/hunger seems to have dissipated. Far too many cracks/bugs have crept into their product that remain, unresolved. Having a 'space or tab' option for custom search engines that has been broken for, [maybe] a decade now; POST check-box on same setting-box also doesn't work. i shan't air all their dirty laundry, those that i have noticed, here; but hopefully my BUMP might at least attract their attention to you and your a-lonesome {before today
} OP.
Warmest regards,

Postscript: If i rate Opera circa 2010 a 10/10, i would rate 2025's Opera at a 9.3/10. Not too shabby, Opera; you're still Elite in my books!

Well....after almost 3 years (!) I finally managed to solve the problem.
I uninstalled numerous times Opera One on my iPhone but it always failed to connect to the desktop app. The Android app and Opera GX connected with no problem so it was clear it was something with Opera One app on my iPhone.
The solution: on your iOS app go to settings -> Version (in the bottom) and click 3 times. You'll get inside some sort of debugger.
Click on Clean Keychain and Clear Kingfisher image cache (I don't know if both of them are needed)
Restart the app and try to connect to Flow on your PC and magic happens...you can connect to Flow on your PC.
