Any particular extension or all extensions ?. From where are you installing this/these extension/s ?. Could you provide an example ?.

When I am trying to install this extension: Edit the Page, I get exactly that error:
This happens in Opera, Opera beta, and Opera-developer, but only in Linux. When I try to do it in Windows on the same computer, it works.

Can confirm this problem on Ubuntu 14.04 LTS even on https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/edit-the-page/?display=en too!
