Cannot upload new add-on

I tried to upload a new extension, but somehow it always failed with the error message "This package name contains invalid characters." even though the names are very normal, such as "somename.crx", "somename-1.0.0.crx", "username-somename.crx", and "username-somename-1.0.0.crx." There was also another error, "Upload Error (500)," when I tried with another package.
