How it is possible to change the back hotkey from ctrl+left arrow to normal and default backspace? I'm running opera in Ubuntu 14.10

Just installed Opera26 on my system (OpenSuSE 13.1). It runs, but seems to be missing a number of important (at least to me!) things.
-
There doesn't seem to be any way to set web page colors, or apply a CSS stylesheet. If it only allows me to have black text on a glaring white background, I'm not going to be using it.
-
It doesn't import bookmarks from my current Opera (11.64).
-
The F2 command to let you enter a URL doesn't seem to work any more. It's also missing the normal menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc). So I seem to be limited to doing Google searches...
Also, there is an option in Settings/Websits that's supposed to keep sites from accessing my physical location. Great idea, but it doesn't seem to work: a couple of sites I looked at discover my location (state & zip code) anyway.
Any help would be appreciated.

The Stylish extension seems to address my problem #1 above (web page colors &c). However, I've found a couple of new problems.
-
Bookmarks: instead of the fairly obvious Alt-B, they're now set with Alt-D. Instead of readable text, the bookmark becomes a thumbnail image of the page I bookmarked. This is NOT usable!
-
When using the scroll vertical scroll bar, if the mouse cursor is moved more than a small distance left or right of the bar, the display jumps back to the top of the page. It should keep dragging the slider as long as I have the button held down, or at the very least, stay at the last place I scrolled to.

You can import from the
opera://settings/importData
page- The F2 command to let you enter a URL doesn't seem to work any more.
You can remap F2 to
FocusAddressbar
to achieve the same effect or use F8.It's also missing the normal menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc). So I seem to be limited to doing Google searches...
They are present under Unity or use the Opera button, which has all the same options.
Also, there is an option in Settings/Websits that's supposed to keep sites from accessing my physical location. Great idea, but it doesn't seem to work: a couple of sites I looked at discover my location (state & zip code) anyway.
They can also do this via your IP address, which is not something we can fix. It is the same in all browsers.
- Bookmarks: instead of the fairly obvious Alt-B, they're now set with Alt-D.
Ctrl+b is Speed Dial Ctrl+d is bookmarks. Remap them if it bothers you.
Instead of readable text, the bookmark becomes a thumbnail image of the page I bookmarked. This is NOT usable!
You can change the view to a list instead of thumbnail images.
- When using the scroll vertical scroll bar, if the mouse cursor is moved more than a small distance left or right of the bar, the display jumps back to the top of the page.
Move your mouse back towards the scroll bar and it will jump back again.

Yes, you can remap the keyboard. This is probably what you are after:
"Keybindings": { "Basic": { "Back": [ "Alt+Left", "Ctrl+Left", "Backspace" ] } },

Hi. I just upgrade on my Ubuntu. I can see email is gone ? Is there any way to get my emails back, other than downgrading ?
-

You have to use the old version to get email, but you don't have to downgrade, you can install old opera alongside the new opera. Read about it here: http://ruario.ghost.io/2014/12/23/installing-12-16-alongside-modern-opera.

Hi, ruario.
I have Opera 26.0 on my Linux Mint. when I type keywords into the URL bar, Google search is at work. But it's for Google.CA. How can I make Google.COM the default?

So all the interesting opera features are still missing, is there any plan to put them back ?
I'm talking about the sidebar, the gestures, the middle click paste'n'go, tab stacking, etc.

Hello,
there's a way to change the color of the sidebars?
And there's a way to choose the sources of news in the «discover» tool? More or less like a feed aggregator. -

Which sidebars are you talking about? And there's now way to change the sources in discover, if you want to discuss it, there is a thread about it here: https://forums.opera.com/topic/7064/filter-discover-sources/1
